Wassup!!!! Is Life really going up???

"Hi, Wassup, Hows Life?"

These are the usual greetings used by us nowadays while talking to anyone.
What is the response you get in return? Hi, All well, Life is going on as usual or Life is cool, amazing... You say...etc etc...
But do you'll really think Life is going on or All is well!!!!
Has anyone noticed that everyday of our life is a typical robotic, mechanized day?
Wake up every morning, get ready for work, reach office in time(rather try to reach office in time), do the same work everyday, leave office at the time when work is over, drag yourself home and have dinner and try to relax and sleep tight for the next coming day...
We are just like a toy which works like a key turned on and we just go on....
Are we really living LIFE?? Is Life really "All is well"??
Your mind is always thinking and under worry for your future. What will happen tomorrow? Would i get a better hike this year? Would i be promoted? Should i change my job? Would i get a better salary? What should i do next in Life? Where should i take my girlfriend/parents/wife/children out for a vacation? Should i buy a new house? Should i take a home loan? Would i be able to repay it? etc etc etc....
Unending worries and invitation to health issues at the same time.

Have we ever thought what is Life actually?? Is it just to live in the above way?? Just think what will happen in future?? Materialistic Life!!!!
Is Life just to live in such a way???
Need to understand why are we living??
We have forgotten weekends, long drive's, catching up with friend's or relatives on a weekend, the true concern for our neighbour, the unending chats or a game of cards, etc....

You might say that we still do all of the above things, but how often do we really do this and that too with a relaxed mind??
Weekends are more fun these days, coz there are malls, disc, weekend homes, resorts, etc.
But earlier, in the days of our forefathers, they lived a real life. They did not live under so much stress, they did not work for extra hours or were not facing a competition like now. They did not have to worry about increasing real estate rates, or gold rates, the growing inflation, or worry whether to admit their kids in SSC, CBSE, ICSE or International school, or how and where to get their money invested and make it double in no time.

They rather lived a simple life with less worries, but more of concern for each other in family and friend circle. They had the time to call up or just go and knock at the door of their friends home and ask hey hows you dear, hope everything fine with you.

They did not need much choice while selecting a 4 wheeler for their family, so there was less of traffic and less of unnecessary honking and less of pollution those days.

Sweet home were really sweet and simple and not with the high tech luxurious items in them but real values of humanity and a touch of warm feelings in the home which even a stranger stepping in could sense it.

Money was important that time too, but not the end in life like today.
Now, money is everything, no money no life is the scenario of these days.
A person's existence is money, a person's respect and value is money.
And its become the end of everyone in this world these days.
People are just running behind money and Money is enjoying the importance it is getting and so it is running away from people and making them run more and more behind it.

Time is moving fast but people are not actually moving, we are all busy running behind Money.
Where is living Life motto gone??

Comments

I like... its a fact that "life is a rat race and even if you win it... you will still be a RAT" but it is up to you how you work up to the finishing line...and its you who can choose when to finish the race for yourself... but fortunately or unfortunately not many have unlocked their minds to that level to be open to opportunities that help them grow... mostly everyone is reshaped with negativity towards each others... to new ideas... opportunities...and to everything in general...
well put...

see its all about the choices and decisions we make...

we decide that ok... I need this much money to be happy or to tide over the inflation easily... it all depends on your frame of reference...

as mtalrocks says above... we are attaching negative frames... try to attach the positive frames and if possible work towards helping others see the better/lighter side of things

Developing India! Is it really?

After a long time, I got some food for thought post a conversation with an age-old uncle who wailed like his fellow allies against the cacophony during Ganpati visarjan to rising inflation, corruption, current generation, importance of money over relations etc. To some extent I couldn’t agree more to his crux of the conversation. So pen down my thoughts here. “Arey chalo aage! Utro utro!” (Move ahead, get down get down) are some famous words we hear every day in our lives or rather live with them. Every single day in Mumbai is a struggle and is moving at a super fast pace. Routine life for a working employee is; wake up in the morning, complete morning chores, leave for work (or to put in  a better way - run for work) reach work, strive hard, rush back home, have dinner and sleep for another day repeating the entire routine. Most of you readers would agree with this and few defy it. But still this is the life of a Mumbaikar amongst majority. Everything is happen

What's Commitment!!

Commitment!!! The most dreaded word of all....Be it for any purpose, be it relationship, work, studies, pay your dues, etc...What exactly does it mean to commit? Does it mean to make a promise? Does it mean you are obliged to someone or something? Or is it that you are responsible for your commitment you make? What exactly does it mean? Yes, all the above mean the same, but then why is it such a scaring fact to commit? When you take a loan from a bank, a friend or any money lender you commit to pay back the amount in a stipulated time period upon a pre-decided agreement and you struggle and try your best to pay back. When you are studying you commit to achieve a particular grade at a particular stage and you struggle for it. When you are at work you are paid for a particular job, and you are committed or atleast expected to be committed to your work and so you try to prove yourself and achieve your set targets. When you have a family you are committed to every particular individual in
