Those times.....

You spend 1 to 2 years when you are born in this world to learn to take,
your 1st step and your 1st bite with the 1st new teeth...
You spend moments of tantrums, fun, falling and crying, lots of kiddish things in next 2-3 years.....
You spend 10 years learning the 'a.b,c...' and colors of life, have loads of friends, fights, exams, favorite and boring teachers and subjects, funny punishments for all those silly mistakes you do....
You spend the next 5 years free like a bird to study, bunk, have crushes, dress in the best ways to impress others, celebrate various days, spend endless time on phone or in canteen.
Then starts the real journey of struggle in the coming years.....

What should we take as Life????
The years gone by where we had all the fun and we still have them in memories which get a smile on our face or the years of struggle which starts post all this?????
All those lovely moments, lovely people, lovely things, lovely places are in memories....
We hardly get back to them and struggle for the unseen and unknown future!!!!!

Developing India! Is it really?

After a long time, I got some food for thought post a conversation with an age-old uncle who wailed like his fellow allies against the cacophony during Ganpati visarjan to rising inflation, corruption, current generation, importance of money over relations etc. To some extent I couldn’t agree more to his crux of the conversation. So pen down my thoughts here. “Arey chalo aage! Utro utro!” (Move ahead, get down get down) are some famous words we hear every day in our lives or rather live with them. Every single day in Mumbai is a struggle and is moving at a super fast pace. Routine life for a working employee is; wake up in the morning, complete morning chores, leave for work (or to put in  a better way - run for work) reach work, strive hard, rush back home, have dinner and sleep for another day repeating the entire routine. Most of you readers would agree with this and few defy it. But still this is the life of a Mumbaikar amongst majority. Everything is ha...

Mumbai, a city forgetting basic humanity......

Mumbai, a city full of life, happenings every moment, bright and dark alleys, a city messed up by its own people, a city with moments of joy and melancholy. Millions of people spread across this beautiful city have millions of varied nature people around. The moment you step out on the roads of Mumbai, you will enjoy every moment seeing the vibrant mixture around you. A city with a crowd boisterous, running ahead of time, working in a cliché manner every single day is a picturesque to watch around not just for photographers to capture them all, but for everyone staying in this huge city. The other day, Mom and me along with the other crowd of Mumbai were waiting at the bus stop for the most expected bus to a particular destination. The cabbies would not budge to take us to the place where we wanted to go so they left us no choice but wait for almost 30 mins. for the BEST transport. Finally seeing the red vehicle wading its way from the heavy traffic...

Love You!!!

You touch my toes, my little feet, I pull them inside and try to cover them. You brisk and glide softly over my hands, N am full of sweet goose bumps. I can feel your touch all over my body, N I have no option but coil my body. I just want to sleep, just want to hug. And feel the warmth and coziness. Ohhhhh! How I just Love You Mumbai Winters !
